The summer review of the Scipione dal Ferro neighborhood house
The lights that look like stars, the bright and reassuring colors of the mural dedicated to Aurelia Zama, a stage that captures the attention of the city park, the welcoming social bar with its windows that are always open. This is the fourth edition of the Moonlight Scipione summer festival, which confirms the Scipione dal Ferro Neighborhood House as a point of reference for city life in Cyrenaica.
With live shows, concerts, stand up comedy evenings, flea markets and much more we are ready to welcome the citizens who live in our spaces throughout the year but also the city users and tourists who will stay in our neighbourhood.
We start with the DeriveApprodi literary festival in collaboration with the magazine Machina and the Punto Input association “The Nineties: when the future is over”, three days dedicated to the decade in which the «post» became the end of history (17, 18 and 19 May). We will also find this formation at the end of the review, in September.
This summer’s program includes many beautiful new features, starting with Gentemergente, the format of live music evenings with local artists, ranging from songwriting to music theatre, from ethnic music to pop and popular (Le cadaver exquisite, Comete, Oratio and many others). With Cirenaica Buskers, magic and juggling arrive on the Scipione stage between shows and workshops, while debuting stand up comedians will perform on Comedy Lights Wednesdays.
Ciremarket, the handmade market in Cyrenaica which was a huge success in its first edition, will return on two more dates on 2 June, 14 July and 15 September.
