The first part of yesterday’s work was dedicated to how the association has changed over time and how it can evolve further. Four speakers: Michele Giovanardi, president of Confartigianato Imprese Piemonte Orientale, Maurizio Comoli, vice president of Banco Bpm, Domenico de Angelis, co-general manager of Banco Bpm and Marco Granelli, national president of Confartigianato Imprese.
What has Confartigianato done in these years? “We have raised the quality of services to businesses, traditional services but above all new services, from export, accompanying small businesses in trade missions and training, with our Agency accredited in the Region, and activating initiatives of active labor policies” said Michele Giovanardi.
The role of small businesses within macro economic scenarios was summarized by the vice president of Banco Bpm, Maurizio Comoli: «Small businesses and large industry are not in contradiction, and if small businesses, more exposed in this period of economic difficulty, decrease, the country will become a desert».
A burst of pride for President Marco Granelli: «If despite everything we are the second manufacturing power in Europeafter Germany, in a fabric made up of small businesses, then perhaps it means that it is not the businesses that are not working but that the context in which they are inserted is problematic and hence the need for a renewed and solid agreement between businesses and institutions”.
