The Carabinieri of the Casalbuttano Station have reported a 39-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, with previous police convictions, for aggravated theft because they are believed to be responsible for a theft at the Bordolano recycling center.
On the morning of June 30, around 11:00, the Casalbuttano patrol was in Bordolano and, in a street in the town, noticed a car, already known, with two people on board. The military ordered them to stop and identified the two. During these operations they noticed that in the back seat of the vehicle the couple had several objects, such as televisions, a PC screen and an air conditioning splitter, and the two said they had gotten them from friends. But they also had several moped batteries. At that point, not knowing how to justify their possession, they admitted to having taken the objects from the Bordolano recycling area. The military carried out the necessary checks, also viewing the images from the facility’s surveillance cameras, and accompanied the two to the Casalbuttano barracks. All the material was returned to the person in charge of the recycling area, while the couple was reported for aggravated theft.
