CRAL GW MEMC CHARITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT IN BENEFIT OF LILT NOVARA

Novara – The five-a-side football tournament organized by the Cral of the Global Wafers – Memc company of Novara in favor of Lilt, the Italian League for the fight against tumors, the Provincial Association of Novara Odv, was recently held at the sports area of ​​Parco della Mora in Pernate (Novara). The charity initiative not only raised funds for Lilt, but also promoted sport as an essential factor for a healthy life. Lilt offered participants and all those present information material on the 12 pills of cancer prevention together with brochures on healthy lifestyles, physical activity and the awareness campaign for male prevention. The president of Memc Electronic Materials Spa Marco Sciamanna, the director of Human Resources Edgardo Pistoia and the HSE (Health Safety Environment) manager Stefano Garbini were present.

Four teams participated in the tournament: at the end of the matches between the Whites, Greens, Blues and Reds, the latter were awarded the winners’ trophy. Salvatore Murè was awarded as best goalkeeper, Giuseppe Bruzzaniti as best player and Patrick Tagliabue as top scorer. The organization was taken care of in particular by Giovanni Ritrovato, also among the players of the tournament.
