Polls closed throughout Italy, the word now goes to the votes. However, the data relating to the turnout for constituency III, the one that includes Marche, Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, immediately flashes: in practice one voter in two or slightly more voted (52.50%). The Marche, in detail, a little better: 54.56% (but still well below the figure of the previous elections). The province of Pesaro and Urbino ranks first in terms of voters, with 62.45%.

Ricci draws a blank in the Marche: a signal for the Regionals

The partial data, while awaiting the definitive and consolidated data, already give a clear picture in the Marche region too: the polarization of the vote between the Brothers of Italy, which wins by a landslide, and the Democratic Party which forcefully goes upstream. The real surprise is the Green and Left Alliance which supports the League (a real disappointment, so far, in this electoral round) and Forza Italia which, on the other hand, proves to be alive and well. The M5s is bad, dancing on 10%. As regards the candidates from the Marche, in the partial data, Matteo Ricci did very well (which in the 2.53 figure in the Marche makes a blank, winking, if necessary, also to next year’s Regionals) and very well Carlo Ciccioli. Will this push be enough to bring the Marche back to Europe? Back Morani and Carloni. We will have to wait for the final data. But let’s go in order.
