The main objective, compatibly with the resources at one’s disposal, is to experience a decidedly quieter season than the one that has just ended and to try to climb a few steps in the rankings to begin the journey that aims to bring back to the top one of the historical realities of Italian water polo and international.

The announcement of the arrival of Darko Brguljan, a Montenegrin striker born in 1990 who returns to Italy after his experience with the Circolo Canottieri Napoli, is only the beginning of the plan to strengthen the Circolo Nautico Posillipo. The red-green club needs figures of depth who can enrich the experience rate of a young squad and bring those goals that have too often been missed in recent years. For this reason the Neapolitan club, according to well-credited sources, is trying a new coup: bringing the prodigal son Vincenzo Renzuto Iodice back to Naples. The striker born in 1993, busy with Settebello in preparation for the Olympics, now seems to have finished his experience with the cap of AN Brescia and could decide to return home to carve out a leading role in the club where he grew up and which launched him towards the most prestigious stages.

However, the action of the Mergellina club does not stop here, as it is also looking for one or two profiles for the role of center scorer. Among the names of interest are Giobatta Valle, who could however also include the newly promoted Olympic Roma, and that of the great ex Zeno Bertoli, fresh from relegation to A2 with Check-Up Rari Nantes Salerno.

BPER Rari Nantes Savona has not yet concluded its signing campaign and could add an element with notable prospects to its staff with a view to constant attention to the best talents on the national scene. The Ligurian club seems to have decidedly focused on Alessandro Gullotta, a left-footed player born in 2005, who has grown exponentially in recent seasons and is now a precious point of reference for the Etna team. Also in favor of the possible conclusion of the operation is the experience that the player has had in the youth national teams with Alberto Angelini.
