Lamezia, two gold medals in badminton for Tycke Sport Apd at the ‘Play The Games 2024’

Lamezia Terme – Tycke Sport APD, born from the will of a group of operators in the social world and parents of disabled children, is a voluntary association with social, cultural, educational, artistic, recreational, recreational and amateur sports purposes. From 7 to 9 June 2024, the association participated in the Special Olympics “Play The Games 2024” in Salsomaggiore/Busseto/Noceto/Fidenza with its wonderful athletes.

The sports team, trained and guided by the technical director Domenico Saladino and his staff, achieved good results in this national competition. Tycke Sport APD achieved two positions at the top of the podium, with two gold medals won by athlete Giovanni Citino and partner athlete Roberto Feroleto in the badminton specialty, both for singles and doubles. Tycke Sport APD thus closes the 2023/24 sports season with great satisfaction. “These results encourage us to continue on the path undertaken, which during 2024 saw the association lead a series of initiatives of a sporting, inclusive, supportive and sustainable nature – they say – This commitment is in the DNA of the management staff led by president Pasquale Cimino and has attracted a lot of interest in our city. In addition to the successes on the podium, two other fourth places enriched the trip, demonstrating the high level of competitiveness and preparation of the Tycke Sport APD athletes”.
