Everything is ready for the sports campuses including sports, workshops and trips. These are the summer camps promoted and organized by the Uisp committee of Ferrara. The activities will be aimed at young people born between 2018 and 2010, while the start is set for today. The opening hours on these days are from 7.30am to 5.30pm. The multisport campuses organized by Uisp Ferrara are located in various facilities in the municipal area. At the ‘summer camp’ citadel, or the ‘G. Lenzi’ in via Porta Catena, ‘Pastro’ swimming pool in via Pastro, ‘the PadelClub Camp’ in via Cà Rosa. Two other campuses in the parish of San Martino and the other in Baura in the ‘Don Milani’ primary school, the latter reserved for those enrolled in a school belonging to the ‘Don Milani’ institute complex. A program that also includes days in the swimming pool, trips, outdoor activities, various sports, manual and creative workshops, all with the support of instructors, educators, graduates in motor sciences or in possession of specific patents, this for each individual sport. To explain the programming of the ‘sports campuses’, Eleonora Banzi and Andrea De Vivo, respectively president and vice-president of Uisp Ferrara: “The camps in the ‘Pastro’ swimming pool will see water activities, then the hamlets will be valorised, proposing the campus in Baura and San Martino. Finally, we have a new campus in collaboration with ‘the padel club’. All the campuses are multi-sport, but there will be different workshop activities and moments designed with the local ASDs and associations”.
