Elections, half of those eligible to vote in Granda

Around one voter in two went to the polls in the province of Cuneo. The turnout data is updated at 7pm this evening, Sunday 9 June. That for the European ones stands at 51.20%, that for the regional ones at 49.95%, both higher than the average for the region. The “driving force” of the municipal elections is clear: in the centers called to also elect the Mayor and Municipal Council, in fact, the turnout recorded at 7 pm was 56.43%.

These are the turnout data in the four “sisters” called to vote for the administrative elections: 56.67% in Alba, 52.52% in Bra, 55.27% in Fossano, 55.53% in Saluzzo. The lowest figure among the Municipalities that must elect the Mayor is that of Perlo (24.28%), the highest in Isasca, where 81.97% of those entitled to vote have already voted.

The lowest turnout for the European elections was in Briga Alta (16.28%), the highest in Monasterolo Casotto (78.21%). Briga Alta also has the lowest turnout for the regional elections (15.04%), while the highest turnout is recorded in Verduno (79.18%).

The Granda data, in general, are higher than the Italian average: the turnout recorded at 7pm at a national level is around 40% for the European ones, when not all sections have already communicated their data.

The polls will close at 11pm.
