While waiting for the counting of the 2024 administrative elections, which in Tuscany involved 185 municipalities including the three capitals of Florence, Prato and Livorno, let’s see how the voting went for the European elections. Also in this case, the result achieved by two parties, the Democratic Party and the Brothers of Italy, stands out above all. With 3,910 sections scrutinized out of 3,926, contrary to what happened at a national level, in Tuscany the Dems remained in first place with 31.91% of the votes, about a point and a half below the 33.3% achieved in the European elections of 2019. Fratelli d’Italia instead jumped from 4.9% to 27.4%. An exploit similar to the one carried out by the League five years ago whose consensus has since drastically reduced.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY – 31.92% (33.3% in 2019)
BROTHERS OF ITALY – 27.40% (4.9% in 2019)
5 STAR MOVEMENT – 8.22% (12.7% in 2019)
GREEN AND LEFT ALLIANCE – 7.56% (Green Europe 2.6% and Left 2.6% in 2019)
FORZA ITALIA-WE MODERATES-PPE – 6.27% (5.8% in 2019)
LEAGUE SALVINI PREMIER – 6.20% (31.5% in 2019)
UNITED STATES OF EUROPE – 4.80% (+Europe 3% in 2019)
PEACE, EARTH AND DIGNITY – 3%
ACTION-WE ARE EUROPEAN – 2.83%
