GREEN AND LEFT ALLIANCE:
Polls closed throughout Europe and games played in the secrecy of the voting booth. With the stroke of 11pm in Italy, the voting operations close, with Italy being the last country to complete the elections. Thus the votes for the European elections begin while those for the local elections are postponed to tomorrow, Monday 10 June, starting from 2.00 pm.
An hour after the exit polls, around midnight, the first projections of the European elections will be published. What are? These are projections – in fact – based not on polls, but on real data, on the first “real” ballots. Compared to exit polls, these data – although partial – are usually considered more reliable. From midnight there will be screenings for the European Championships.
The projections for the municipal and regional elections will not arrive before 3pm on Monday – one hour after the start of the counting for the administrative elections.
The final results
The counting for the European elections will continue during the night: in the morning the data will therefore be widely acquired. The counting for the municipal and regional elections will begin at 2pm on Monday: the results will be “final” on Monday evening.
Exit pool
The first projection on the Italian results speaks of a victory, here too, of the right although in a different way from the rest of Europe with Fratelli d’Italia with a range between 26 and 30%. The second party would be the Democratic Party with a range between 21 and 25%. The 5 Star Movement is third with a range between 10 and 14%.
