Until a “certain generation” has become extinct, this territory will remain confined to the worst of the Middle Ages
TEVEROLA (dd) – When the candidates in the elections or those who, clearly, by public knowledge, are their emissaries, go around and inside the so-called popular buildings, this newspaper raises its antennas. He is forced to do so even on a delicate day, like today, to vote, with the polls open until 11pm this evening.
This happens because certain activities, dubious to say the least, still take place when the polls are open or almost open. The case is that of the municipal elections of Teverola where Gennaro Casertacandidate for mayor or, rather, candidate for mayor by proxy of the former mayor Biagio Lusini, who built four-fifths of the list for him and which would therefore affect him quite a bit, as we have already written in unsuspecting times, in his eventual activity, with him and not Caserta being the de facto mayor of Teverola. Caserta, together with some companions including some 8 which makes the matter still, let’s say, “inelegant”, made a long visit to the public housing in the Santa Croce district.
They could have done it in the past few days or in the previous weeks. Instead, they chose yesterday, when the polls were already open or just about to open.
And this, as we know well, due to the characteristics of the vote and the, let’s call it that, gaining consensus in the so-called popular districts, is never a good thing and offers the right to evaluations and considerations that are certainly not commendable towards those who carry out these operations on the last day or even on the day in which the polls are already open given that yesterday, Saturday 8 June, voting was already taking place starting from 3pm.
