The ASD New Asti Skating Banca di Asti, a CONI accredited centre, is working to prepare the National Grand Gala “The Night of Champions”, now in its 18th edition. The show is scheduled at the Pala San Quirico in Asti on Saturday 15 June starting at 8.30 pm with free admission. This year, Simona Graziano will host the event, who will have the task of accompanying the public on the special evening in which the protagonist will be the magic of artistic roller skating interpreted by New Asti Skating members and guests of national caliber.

As per tradition, it will be an evening of sport and entertainment, dedicated to young athletes registered with the Society, with performances by the Baby Skating, Beginners, Start-up, Pre-Agonists and Agonists groups curated in detail by the federal coach Lidia Nargi and the choreographer Giada Galluzzo . Guests of the evening will be Sophia Martino, cat. Junior, from the Olimpia Roller company of Alassio, 5th place in the semi-final of the World Cup, and Carola Frana, cat. Seniores, from the Victoria Alba company. The show will be preceded by the “Skate with the Champions” initiative, a promotional moment open to all in which you can get closer to this fascinating sporting discipline, and which is part of the “Game and sport movement: I say yes” program supported by the Foundation of Asti Savings Bank. Between 4.00pm and 5.30pm, boys and girls will be able to skate alongside the champions, followed by Federal Instructors, to experience the wonderful world of artistic roller skating more closely.
It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the prestigious results obtained by the athletes during the 2024 season which culminated with Gabriela Melis’ participation in the FISR Italian Championships in Prato where she was the protagonist of a great test with a high technical content. Added to this prestigious result are the five gold and two silver medals at the Regional Championship in the Compulsory Championships and the ten podiums, including six first places, at the FISR Interprovincial Championships.
