Luca Salvettijournalist and outgoing mayor of Livorno, stands again supported by 5 lists: the centre-left coalition formed by Pd, Avs, Polo dei Riformisti per il Futuro (IV, +Europa, Psi and Lde in one list) and by two civic lists ( Livorno Civica and Protagonists for the city).
The centre-right candidate is Alessandro Guarducci, retired journalist, supported by 4 lists: FdI, Lega, Forza Italia, as well as the Guarducci Mayor List, the civic list in which Azione and Noi Moderati converged with some exponents. The two teams do not have their own lists. V is also in the runningAlentina Barale, supported by six lists: she is the candidate of the radical and activist left, leader of the coalition formed by civic forces such as Buongiorno Livorno, Prospettiva Livorno and Città Diversa, but also by political forces such as Rifondazione Comunista and Livorno Popolare, the latter born from the merger between Power to the People and Possibile Livorno. A necessary configuration since the Pap national secretariat denied entry into the coalition due to the presence of the M5S, which in turn decided not to run alone but in support of Barale. The Italian Communist Party was also present in Livorno, with the candidate Lorenzo Cosimi. Then there is Costanza Vaccaro, candidate for Alternativa Popolare of Stefano Bandecchi, the entrepreneur mayor of Terni who is of Livorno origin, and Livorno for them.
