The confusion between our symbol and the list of the Democratic Party 8 (see attachment) is first and foremost an indication of unacceptable institutional quackery in the face of one of the most important constitutional rights, that of the democratic vote. Whoever made a mistake must pay the consequences, including political ones. It is unacceptable that Democratic Party is written under our symbol on the counting cards, except for a hand cancellation, which was not done in all the polling stations as far as we know, which cannot help but cause confusion.
We therefore ask the relevant authorities to ensure maximum surveillance at the polling stations. Where, moreover, several of our sympathizers tell us that the political militants of the other parties accompany the voters by effectively carrying out an illegal electoral campaign.
As Firenze Rinasce we denounce that this is yet another episode of discrimination against us, after an electoral campaign in which we were opposed, silenced and denigrated as much as possible: a clear sign that our opposition, the only truly radical one, to the system of power that has governed this city for decades, is scary: Andreotti said that it is a sin to think badly but one often gets it right.
Naturally we will not be intimidated: we announce from now on that we reserve the right to ask for a recount of the votes and also possibly the invalidation of the votes.
