Turnout still low for the European and local elections in Lombardy.

At 12pm, with the polls open from 7am this morning, the regional figure is 28.7% of eligible voters who went to vote, after the polls had been open yesterday, Saturday, from 3pm to 11pm.

TO Milan the turnout recorded at 12, 25.16% of voters voted.

Much higher turnout in cities where municipal elections are also held: a Bergamo at 12 35.5% of voters voted, a Cremona on the 35thto Pavia on 33.5to remain in the three provincial capitals in which votes are being held for the renewal of the administrations.

Voting continues until 11pm: when the polls close the counting for the European elections begins, while for the municipal elections the counting will begin tomorrow, Monday, at 3pm.

Among the politicians who voted today in Milan Umberto Bossi, in the polling station set up in the school in via Fabriano in Milan, near via Bellerio, where he lives, accompanied by his son Renzo. Only yesterday the former secretary of the Lombard League Paolo Grimoldi reported that the founder of the Northern League had told him that he would vote for Marco Reguzzoni, former group leader in the Chamber of the League now on the Forza Italia list.

And the Municipality of Milan lets it be known that they remain open even today extraordinarily, with free access but only for purposes related to electoral needs, some municipal offices: the electoral office in via Messina 52/54 and the registry office in via Larga 12 until 11pm, the eight registry offices (via Padova 118, via Sansovino 9, via Oglio 18, viale Tibaldi 41, viale Legioni Romane 54, piazza Stovani 3, Piazzale Accursio 5, Largo de Benedetti 1), until 5pm.
