Bad weather forecast for most of Tuscany. In fact, today, Sunday 9 June, the regional civil protection issued a weather warning bulletin with yellow criticality starting from 8pm until 8am tomorrow Monday 10 June. Critical issues regarding strong storms and hydraulic hydrogeological risk of the minor network. The warning concerns the entire central-northern area of Tuscany.

The Civil Protection advises citizens to raise the level of normal prudence and observe the following precautions:
- Avoid crossing flooded roads and underpasses if they appear flooded as the depth and speed of the water may be greater than it appears.
- The force of the precipitation could cause the manhole caps to come out of their seats: pay attention when driving even on slightly flooded streets.
- Be careful when traveling on roads where the water has receded because there could be dangers.
- Avoid passing or stopping along the banks of watercourses, and on bridges and walkways.
- Place barriers to prevent water from flooding rooms below street level, such as cellars and underground garages.
