The polls opened again on Sunday at 7am for election day in the municipalities of the Forlivese area called to elect the new mayor and representatives in the city council. But we are also voting for the renewal of the European Parliament: Italy elects 76 MEPs, chosen in five constituencies. Emilia-Romagna is located in the North-East constituency, which elects 15 MEPs. In the province of Forlì-Cesena the turnout for the European elections at 12pm on Sunday was just over 33.6% (18.95% at 11pm on Saturday), that for the municipal elections was over 34.9% (19. 94% at 11pm on Saturday).
