Inconvenience for FS travelers on a high-speed train, a Frecciarossa Venice-Milan, which was blocked for four hours in the Bergamo area due to a technical problem. Passengers complained about the unbreathable air due to the heat in the carriages, the lack of electricity and the inability to open the doors. The staff distributed water to the passengers. An event that occurred on Saturday and which emerges in these hours.

The train of Fswhich left Venice at 5pm, stopped at Casirate d’Adda in the province of Bergamo after 2 hours, around 7.08pm. According to what Il Giorno reports, at 9.30 pm, after two and a half hours, a rescue locomotive was prepared by Trenitalia. However, the Frecciarossa convoy that had passengers on board proceeded very slowly and then stopped again. Only at 11pm did a second convoy arrive on site which allowed passengers to arrive at Milan Central station around midnight.

Trenitalia – the newspaper reports – “made it known that it had immediately activated the rescue intervention, providing assistance to passengers, both on board during the stop and at Milan Central Station”.

At the end of last month, RFI had communicated upcoming traffic interruptions for the section affected by the incident on Saturday: for Milan-Venice AV/AC (routes: Verona-Vicenza, Vicenza-Schio and San Bonifacio) from 31 July to 20 August , 21-day interruption on the section for maintenance and construction of the new HS/AC line within Vicenza.
