A 32 year old of Bulgarian origin domiciled in Viserba (Rimini) was taken to prison on charges of having attempted to kill on the evening of 19 May

The man, as reported by Rest of the Pug, had fled abroad. But, now hunted by the Carabinieri of the Ravenna investigative unit coordinated by the prosecutor Francesca Bugané Pedretti and assisted by colleagues from Cervia-Milano Marittimaon Thursday he decided to turn himself in also on the advice of his lawyer Riccardo Luzi.
The involvement of the wife
His ex-wife, also of Bulgarian origin, domiciled in Viserba and defended by a lawyer Massimiliano Orrù, is under investigation for aiding and abetting and subjected to an obligation to stay with a ban on going out in the evening. The 32-year-old had fired six shots at her 29-year-old, causing wounds to her arms and chest but failing to kill her only because he ran out of ammunition. Meanwhile, from the back seats of the BMW 5 series in which he had arrived at the pitch, a woman, in Bulgarian, was inciting him to kill the young woman. At first the 32-year-old’s ex-wife was arrested on charges of complicity in murder: but then the judge had excluded the necessary circumstantial framework and the accusation had turned into aiding and abetting. The 29-year-old for her part immediately recognized the attacker but he hadn’t seen the woman’s face. The motive for the ambush, according to the investigators, was a sort of transversal revenge: the 32-year-old, who was looking for two other girls who were colleagues of the 29-year-old and her friends and roommates in Cesenatico (Forlì-Cesena), had come across the young woman and shot she. Everything was triggered by the desire of the two to no longer prostitute themselves for the man: one of her would even report him for exploitation.
