TUSCANY WEATHER WORSENING IN SIGHT FOR SUNDAY EVENING. The start of the day is once again offering mostly cloudy skies only at times with slightly more substantial clouds which in the early morning led to a few sandy drops falling.
We currently have evolving storm formations over the Ligurian Sea.
In the next few hours there will still be a “waiting” time with moderate heat and milky skies also due to the presence of suspended sand.
However, a rapid worsening has been confirmed starting approximately in the late evening or early hours of the night with the entry of a cloud body from the west which will initially affect upper Tuscany and then move towards the center and part of the south.
Showers also expected with a thunderstorm background especially from the early hours of the night while in the remaining part of the night we will still have the risk of scattered showers always entering from the west.
Possibility of thunderstorms especially in the provinces of Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, Pistoia, Prato and Florence. Local episodes of a certain size are not excluded.
Instability that will also continue for part of Monday with a more appreciable improvement expected in the afternoon (also on Monday).
The sultry and hot Sirocco currents will soon be replaced by cooler westerly winds while temperatures will suffer a significant drop.
