MESSINA – A few days ago the announcement by Patrimonio Messina Spa. The subsidiary published the “notice for the expression of interest in acquiring property within the municipal territory to be used for social residential housing”. Now Arismè, the municipal agency for rehabilitation and redevelopment, has launched a new tender. The target? The purchase or rental of housing to be used for economic and popular housing.
The objective, with a budget of approximately 23.3 million euros, based on the Pinqua spending chapters, is “to mitigate social housing hardship for 70% and to acquire houses for redevelopment policies for 30%”. And it sees the two subsidiaries in the foreground: Patrimonio Spa and Arismè, with two lawyers as presidents (in the photo): Maurizio Cacace and Vincenzo La Cava respectively. This is a remodulation of the Pinqua funds, the national innovative program for the quality of living.
23 million euros and at least 250 houses to buy
Will there be 23 million euros available and how many houses will be purchased? “We cannot say with precision – the general director of the Municipality, Salvo Puccio, recently responded – but an estimate is around 250. Arismè and Patrimonio are the operational arm of the operation. We have signed two agreements that offer them coverage for the purchase of housing on behalf of the Municipality of Messina. These are two parallel operations, with important resources for this objective.”
