The Sassari native wins the gold medal and title at the Rimini Championships. Silver medal for Matteo Dore (Junior) and bronze for Samuele Tavera (Youth).
SASSARI | June 8, 2024. A gold medal, a silver and a bronze they are the very respectable “spoils” conquered in recent days by the athletes of the Tarantini fight club at the Italian MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) championships in Rimini. The competition, which took place under the auspices of Federkombat at the Wellness fair in the Romagna town, was dedicated to categories Youth, Junior And Senior.
Three young “warriors” trained by the maestro took to the rings set up at the Rimini fair Angelo Tarantini. The one who brought home the most prestigious medal was Andrea Macis. Promising young man who, after winning the open, also won these championships. For him a season worth remembering which also sees him apply for a place in the Youth national team.
The blue team also won a medal Matthew Dore in the 61 kg Junior who achieves a silver. Complete the podium, with a bronze, Samuele Tavera in the 57 Kg Youth.
The Aurora Network of which the Fight Club is part wins the national team classification again, while the Team Tarantini he closed the season with 20 national medals, including 7 gold, and confirmed himself first company in Sardinia.
