The cultural space “Un mondo a parte”, in Via Carducci 43, takes stock of the initiatives starting next autumn. The ninth edition of the “La Spezia Film Festival” will take place from 26 to 30 November, directed by Paola Settimini and Paolo Logli, which this year is also enriched with the feature film section, whose jury will be chaired by the director Lamberto Bava, master of horror and fantasy. The jury of the short films, as usual, will be chaired by Roberto Danese, professor of Cinema at the University of Urbino. Still regarding the seventh art, the space hosts three evenings a week dedicated to great cinema, with reviews, events and meetings.

Saturday 28 September:
“Forever Tina”, an intense monologue recited by the actress Arianna Pollini, interpreter of Tina Modotti.

Saturday 5 October:
“Il Belvedere” by Aldo Nicolaj, with Sabrina and Menini and Sandro Tore

Saturday 19 October
“Her name was Donatella”, by and with Donatella Mei, dedicated to the figure of Donatella Colasanti, victim of the Circeo massacre.

Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November, double date for the show “Histoire des vampires” by the Grand Guignol de Milan company.

Saturday 23 November:
“Diary of a madman” by Mario Moretti, with Maurizio di Giacomantonio, directed by Mila Moretti.

Friday 6 December
“Alfonsina”, by and with Daniela Bertini, which brings to the stage the story of Alfonsina Strada, the only woman who raced in the Giro d’Italia in 1924.

Saturday 18 January:
“Le Beatrici” by Stefano Benni, directed by Paola Settimini.

Saturday 22 February:
“Manifesto of the Futurist Woman” by Valentine de Saint Point, reading with Ilaria Monfardini.

Friday 7 March:
“Diaries of Adam and Eve” by Mark Twain, with Irene Baruffetti and Pietro Orlandi.

Saturday 8 March:
“Desdemona, Ophelia, Juliet and the others. Or if Shakespeare had been a feminist”, by and with Donatella Mei. On stage with her: Irene Baruffetti, Erica Cannacini, Sabrina Menini.

Friday 14 and Saturday 15 March:
“Tales of the boudoir”, Grand Guignol de Milan company.

Saturday 5 April
“Legami”, a show of music, dance and voice, with Aldo Guerrieri, Paola and Emanuela Cristofaro.

Furthermore, between October and April, “Journey into the Divine Comedy” will be staged on a monthly basis and on a date to be defined. Voices for Dante”, edited by the Lunigianese Center for Dante Studies and Riccardo Monopoli. And again, the B52 association will take care of the competition for theatrical monologues, with the artistic direction of the actress Katia La Galante. While the theater course with the actor and director Sandro Tore will begin in October, divided into two sections: basic level and advanced level. Also in October, the narrative writing course by the publishing house Cut-up Publishing, coordinated by Fabio Nardini, will begin.

Stefania Martinico will hold an emotional painting course, a creative tailoring and knitwear course and the monthly GravidanzArte event dedicated to expectant mothers from September. Also curated by Martinico is the series of art films and the competition on the occasion of World Bee Day and World Cat Day.
