Green light from the Liguria Region to the distribution of the 8 million euros across the territory of the Regional Fund for Social Policies scheduled for 2024. The sum will be divided among the social territorial areas/social-health districts, which will be able to use their share to invest and support all welfare areas (fight against poverty, family policies and services early childhood, protection of minors, elderly people and people with disabilities, young people, hinterland and community welfare). As far as our province is concerned, around 246 thousand euros are allocated to the 17 Val di Vara socio-health district; in District 18 Spezzino approximately 531 thousand; finally at 19 Val di Magra around 410 thousand.

They are also included in the measurement support interventions for families and the expenses of the social secretariat, i.e. the offices responsible for providing information, interventions and taking care of vulnerable individuals.
As established by the regional integrated social plan, the sums of the allocation will be assigned to the leading municipality of the socio-health district, to then be used for the benefit of all the local authorities belonging to the district of which they are part.
The amount of the contribution attributed to the Districts is implemented on the basis of the criteria previously shared with the territories and still in force.
