The prize “New Awareness in Schools”, the traditional recognition established by Municipality of Crotone to highlight the teachers that they were capable of transmit not only knowledge and the passion for studying to their students but also to propose innovative good practices capable of making them active protagonists of city life, for 2024 it was assigned to the professor Luisa Floccari of the Rosmini Comprehensive Institute and to the professor Damiano Morise of the Maria Grazia Cutuli Comprehensive Institute.
The Municipal Councilupon proposal of the councilor for public education Nicola Coriglianodecided on the recognition which will be conferred during an official ceremony to be held next June 25th to 11am in the Council Chamber.
In Floccari the recognition was awarded with the following motivation: “director of the Anna Frank Polyphonic Choir, now associated with the OCC (Calabria Choir Organization) for educational, training and didactic work for its students”.
TO Morisedirector of the Institute’s orchestra which won the prestigious Global Educational Festival 2024 in Sanremo with the following motivation, “for having guided their students with sensitivity and balance to the prestigious success at the European school arts festival”.
