Municipal elections are here, at 3pm today the polls are also open in Irpinia for the vote, also for the European elections. In Avellino there are 72 sections in the city where the preference will be expressed. The legislative decree of 29 January 2024, n. 7 has set the date for the European elections and the ordinary round of administrative elections for today and tomorrow.
– voting operations will take place on Saturday 8 June from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm and on Sunday 9 June from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm;
– the counting operations for the election of the members of the European Parliament due to Italy will begin on Sunday 9 June as soon as the voter matching operations for each electoral consultation have been concluded, while the counting for the municipal elections will begin on Monday 10 June at 2 pm, 00;
– for the purposes of calculating procedural deadlines, Sunday is considered the voting day

To vote you must show up at the polling station with your voter card and identification document. Anyone who has lost, damaged, stolen it or has run out of space available can go, without an appointment, to one of the registry offices or electoral offices of their municipality of residence. And the request can also be made through a cohabiting family member with a proxy on plain paper, one of their documents and an original document from the delegating person.

For a regular vote – As regards the European elections, it is possible to vote for only one list, using only the copying pencil provided. Split voting is not permitted. The voter can vote by drawing an X on the symbol of the chosen list even without indicating any candidate. While the names of the candidates who are eventually chosen can be indicated on the lines printed to the right of the symbol. As? Writing the surname or the name and surname.
