After the official farewell to Giuseppe Branà, announced in a press release released last night, the club is looking for the right profile for the future. At the moment a name that has been circulating around the “Paolo Poli” area is that of Christian Carbone, fresh from his experience with Barletta both as youth sector coach and as assistant coach.
However, what is emerging via social media is a different collective desire on the part of the fans: “We would like more players but above all a coach from Molfetta.” This is the request circulating among red and white supporters. But are there concrete possibilities? Potentially, yes.
The lead to Nicola Ragno, destined for a Serie D club (probably Casarano), is impossible, while the names of Pasquale de Candia and Angelo Carlucci would be more plausible. The former coached Fidelis Andria in the first part of last season in D while the latter is fresh from a three-year period with Borgorosso Molfetta, which culminated in their relegation a few weeks ago.
In recent years, Mister de Candia has always coached Serie D teams but in the 2022/23 season he accepted the proposal of Manfredonia who he guided to promotion by winning the Eccellenza championship.
