In Pescara, Zdenek Zeman, a former blue and white coach, was a guest at the medical conference “The heart, a sea of difficult waves to ride”, organized by the Synergo group at the Hotel Esplanade. «I love Pescara. If I’m well I’ll go back to coaching”
In the final part of the conference, in addition to the Bohemian technician, guests of the event were the provincial commander of the Guardia di Finanza, Antonio Caputo, the professor of commercial law at the University of L’Aquila Fabrizio Politi, Dr. Michele Di Mauro, Dr. Leonardo Paloscia and the head of cardiology of the Pierangeli Clinic, Stefano Guarracini in a crowded room.
At the end of the congress, many approached Mister Zeman to ask for photos and autographs. The former Biancazzurro coach, available to everyone, appeared in excellent health and with his usual desire to joke.
«How am I? Bad, Stefano (Guarracini, ndc) got it all wrong, ask him», quips the Bohemian who then turns serious again and continues, speaking of Pescara: «I’m better. Little by little I want to go back to doing what I love and that I thought would end better. Even when I was there I was very disappointed. After the first six or seven games played well we weren’t able to do what we wanted. I read that Pescara is following Tesser closely. I like him: Tesser is an expert and winning coach.”
Speaking about prevention and health, the Bohemian sent a message: “Doing sport is good for you and I say to young people: don’t smoke.”
Finally, in closing, a declaration of love for the Adriatic capital: «Pescara? I love her…”
