Plebiscito Square armored for concerts Gigi D’Alessio which will be held for 8 evenings (7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 June 2024). The stage for the show “Gigi – Someone like you – The emotion continues” was set up in the center of the square. But the Municipality of Naples has prepared a specific traffic plan with a ban on the circulation of cars and motorbikes even in the adjacent streets, among these, piazza Trieste e Trento, via Cesario Console, via Nicotera and via San Carlo.

The road plan follows the one already adopted last year and will also be reused for the other events planned and announced as part of the “Naples City of Music – Live Festival 2024” music festival. In addition to the 8 evenings of Gigi D’Alessiotherefore, also for the concerts of Renato Zero from 21st to 22nd June, Radio Italia Live – the Concert on June 27th and Tropic on June 28th. The traffic device will be in force from 6.00 pm until no longer necessary for each concert day. The areas dedicated to the public in Piazza del Plebiscito can be accessed on foot from Piazza Trieste and Trento and from via Cesareo Console.

Tonight on stage with Gigi D’Alessio they will be there too Clementino, Geolier, Giué, LDA, the Kolors, Umberto Tozzi, Ernia and Francesco Cicchella.

Tomorrow, however, duets with Alessandra Amoroso, Arisa, Boomdabash, Fiorella Mannoia and Antonella Clerici. AND they will return Clamentino And Francesco Cicchella.

The ordinance with the traffic plan

But what specifically does the ordinance provide with the traffic plan for Gigi D’Alessio’s concerts in Piazza del Plebiscito?

To establish, from 7 to 9 June 2024, from 11 to 12 June, from 14 to 16 June:

A) from 6.00 pm on the day affected by the concert until the needs cease the following day:

• a.1. the ban on vehicular transit on the carriageways of Piazza del Plebiscito in front of the Prefecture building and the Comiliter building (Palazzo Salerno);
• a.2. the ban on vehicular transit in Via Solitaria, Piazzetta Salazar, Rampe Paggeria except for: residents’ vehicles, vehicles with the “H” sign with a disabled person on board and emergency and rescue vehicles, which will circulate in alternating one-way traffic;
• a.3. the ban on vehicular transit in via San Carlo and in piazza Trieste e Trento, except: residents’ vehicles, vehicles with the “H” sign with a disabled person on board and emergency and rescue vehicles, which will be diverted onto via Nardones ;
• a.4. the ban on vehicular transit in via Giovanni Nicotera, from the intersection with vico Mondragone, in the direction of piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli/via Giovanni Serra, except: residents’ vehicles, vehicles with the “H” sign with a disabled person on board, vehicles headed to authorized garages and vehicles for emergencies and rescue;
• a.5. the one-way traffic in Piazza Carolina, from the confluence of Via Serra to that of Via Chiaia and in Via Chiaia, from the confluence of Piazza Carolina to that of Via Gaetano Filangieri;

B) from 08:00 on the day affected by the concert until the needs cease the following day:

• b.1. the suspension in via San Carlo and in piazza Carolina of the area reserved for parking vehicles used for non-scheduled public transport (taxis);
• b.2. the suspension in via San Carlo and in via Cesario Console of the area reserved for the stop of vehicles used for public transport in urban line service.

C) from 00:01 on the day affected by the concert until the needs cease the following day

• the parking ban with forced removal and the suspension of reserved and paid parking (blue lines) in: piazza Trieste e Trento, via San Carlo, via Riccardo Filangieri Candida di Gonzaga, via Vittorio Emanuele III, via Acton, in the stretch between the Galleria Vittoria and via Cesario Console, piazzetta Carolina, via Gennaro Serra, via Cesario Console, via Nazario Sauro and Paggeria ramps.
