PISA. Another intense day full of meetings at home in Pisa. Meetings that will have to lead to the first official decisions between the end of this and the beginning of next week.

Coach question Pisa decided a few days ago that they will not move forward with Alberto Aquilani. The club is now trying to find an agreement with the coach as soon as possible for the termination of the contract which expires in 2025. If an agreement is not reached, he will be sacked. In recent days Aquilani had been linked to Reggiana, who however are thinking of Fabio Caserta in the event of Alessandro Nesta’s departure towards Monza. In the last few hours, rumors have arrived of a possible interest from Cagliari and Salernitana towards the Roman coach. For Aquilani’s succession to the bench, the strong name remains that of Filippo Inzaghi. The news is that Salernitana itself, the club with which Inzaghi terminated his contract a few months ago, also seems to be focusing heavily on the coach. The coach will soon return to Campania: on June 24th he will get married with his partner Angela on the Amalfi coast. At the moment however, from what transpires in Campania, there have been no contacts also because the owner of Salernitana Danilo Iervolino is evaluating the proposed purchase of the club by the American fund Brera Holdings.

Alexander Knaster on the other hand, who met in Forte dei Marmi last Monday with Inzaghi, seems determined to focus on the former national team striker. Pisa has also evaluated other profiles in this period, above all Paolo Zanetti who is one step away from Verona, but “Superpippo” is the name that is causing the most heat at the moment.

The whole right

Pisa is finalizing the contractual termination with Stefanelli, who is about to go to Juventus. The race remains open for succession and nothing has been decided at the moment. The favorites remain Mattia Baldini, ex Sampdoria, Giovanni Rossi, ex Sassuolo, and Renzo Castagnini who is under contract until 2025 with Brescia. Giuseppe Magalini also remains in the running as his contract with Catanzaro expires and he has not yet met with the Giallorossi club.

Tesoretto Pisa

With the renewal of Luca D’Angelo until 2027 with Spezia the situation is unblocked for Adam Nagy. The midfielder owned by Pisa will be bought out on June 14th for 1.2 million euros. D’Angelo himself is definitely focusing on the Hungarian international, a fixed point when the “big man” coached Pisa. The Ligurian club intends to make a significant economic effort. With this outgoing coup, Pisa’s treasure reaches 9.9 million euros given that Udinese has already confirmed that they will take out 8 million to buy out Lorenzo Lucca and Bari 700 thousand euros to permanently secure Sibilli. If the Cypriots of Pafos buy Adrian Rus, the Nerazzurri’s treasure will reach up to 10.7 million euros. Rus’ right of redemption is in fact set at 800 thousand euros. Meanwhile, today the two Nerazzurri players previously called up to the senior national teams, Marin with Romania and Mlakar with Slovenia, will know if they will be part of the final list of 26 players who will play in the European Championship.
