Safety at work, three businesses closed – Teramo

TERAMO. Two closed textile workshops and a blocked construction site: this is the result of an intense activity of checks on the workplace carried out by the Carabinieri of the provincial command and of the Nil, the Labor Inspectorate Unit.
In Mosciano, a textile laboratory managed by a Chinese citizen was checked and health violations were found: no first aid material was found, the workers did not have personal protective equipment and the electrical system was without protection system. The activity was suspended and administrative fines of ten thousand euros were imposed.
The same shortcomings, regarding worker safety, were found in a textile laboratory in Nereto also managed by Chinese citizens. In this case activity suspended and 20 thousand euros in fines for the manager.
In Giulianova the activity of a construction site managed by a foreign citizen was suspended. In this case the police found a worker who was not hired and found various violations relating to safety. Fines of 16 thousand euros were imposed. In Campli, in a construction site managed by an Italian entrepreneur, infringements were detected regarding the lack of equipment for work at heights and the anomaly of some parts of the scaffolding. In this case, fines of 1,500 euros were imposed.
