The governor of the Region presented an award to the artist to thank him for the results achieved at San Siro over the years

“It is a pleasure and an emotion to be here, in this fantastic context, to celebrate the great successes of a character who has marked the history of music for entire generations, taking on a value that is unique in certain aspects”. You said it today at San Siro, on the occasion of the first 2024 date of the concert Vasco Rossi in Milan, the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontanapresenting an award to the artist to thank him for the results achieved in the Milanese stadium over the years.
This is the motivation that accompanied the award ceremony: “From the first date of 10 July 1990, when Vasco Rossi created at San Siro the greatest event ever staged by an Italian artist, a success repeated over the years. The sold out of each date confirmed the special bond between the great singer-songwriter and the Meazza. With the seven concerts in 2024, Vasco will reach the extraordinary quota of 36 performances at San Siro, bringing over 2 million spectators to the Milanese stadium. This path, starting from the history of Italian rock and marked by great emotions, has contributed to the image of San Siro not only as a temple of football, but also of music, giving prestige to Lombardy beyond national borders.
