It was with an official note issued this afternoon that Carpi has announced that it has entrusted the Technical Area and Sports Direction of the first team to Marco Bernardiwho effectively becomes the new transfer man for the red and whites, fresh back in Serie C. The manager, whose last experience was with Fiorenzuola, has signed a two-year contract with the Emilians, thus setting the deadline for 30 June 2026.
These are his first words as a red and white DS: “I am happy and honored to have the opportunity to work in an important and renowned place like Carpi. I begin this new path with enthusiasm and great motivation, with the desire to repay the trust placed in me by President Claudio Lazzaretti. I will meet again in the company and technical staff people with whom I have already worked for two years at Correggese, therefore my integration will be easier and faster.
I bring with me the experience gained in these years of Serie C in Fiorenzuola to make it available to Carpi. The President conveyed to me, with passion and enthusiasm, the desire to build a long-lasting project. To do this, I believe it is essential to plan a program that involves achieving sporting results through sustainable management of the club to create value over time. I will give my all, with passion and dedication, to do the good of Carpi.”
