Fortunately, his life is not in danger a four-year-old girl of Bengali origin invested from a car yesterday afternoon to Dueville.
The alarm went off last night just before eight o’clock in via Caprera, a short distance from the level crossing and near the intersection with via Marsala. According to an initial reconstruction by the police, the little girl escaped from her grandfather’s control, going down the sidewalk just as a car, a Volkswagen Golf driven by a local pensioner, was arriving. Luckily the car was not going at high speed but the driver was unable to avoid the collision, even if only by a glancing blow.
The Suem 118 ambulance from Vicenza arrived on site, to which a medical car was added. Initially it was feared that the little girl’s condition was really serious, but on-site checks led doctors to transfer the little girl to the Vicenza hospital under code yellow for a suspected broken leg. The Carabinieri from the Dueville department intervened on site to investigate and regulate traffic.
