On Saturday 8 June cello and guitar will be the protagonists of the second event Care Notesconcert series organized inside the San Bartolomeo hospital in Sarzana in the atrium
of the SSD Palliative Care (4th floor). The initiative is part of ClassicaMente 4.0 – ancient voices: dialogue to build the future between words, music and images, a cultural project of the Sarzana association “Growing together with music” (president Maria Citterio), founded on musical education with the Suzuki method, and created with the contribution of the Carispezia Foundation as part of the “Plural and Sustainable Culture” call. Sponsored by ASL5, the Municipality of Sarzana and the Provincial Women’s Council, the Note di Cura review is carried out, as well as with the support of the Carispezia Foundation, with the support of the La Libellula OdV association and the precious collaboration of Dr. Monica Ferrari, coordinator of the Hospice and Dr. Mario Bregnocchi, head of the SSD Palliative Care. “After the opening of the concert at 11 with the delicate guitar of the student Matilde Sammartano – anticipates the young Maestro Emanuele Paulettaartistic director of ClassicaMente 4.0 – a talented Tuscan duo, made up of the cellist Giacomo Petrucci and the guitarist Giacomo Martinelli, will lead us on an incredibly exciting and varied musical journey, through the music of Mathias Duplessy, the Spanish popular music of Manuel De Falla and the South American ones of Astor Piazzolla and Maximo Diego Pujol”.
Born at the beginning of 2023 from the meeting between Grow up together with music and the Milanese writer Cristina dell’Acqua, teacher of Latin and Greek, university professor, promoter and disseminator of classical culture, ClassicaMente 4.0 is conceived as a creative space in which young and very young people, alongside professionals in different artistic fields, can express and experiment their talents to create, among a plurality of languages, events that draw on the world of ancient classics, in the awareness that only the present is not enough for those who have the future in their hands. In the title of the exhibition a cure with a C, from the name of the goddess who, according to an ancient Latin myth, modeled mud collected along the bed of a river to create a figure in which Jupiter infused the vital spirit.
