“Beyond the visible”: last days of the photographic exhibition on the unknown and mystery

An exhibition to tell the unknown, mystery and ambiguous through photography. The last weekend of “Beyond the Visible” is scheduled for Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June which, in the rooms of the Spazio Imago Gallery in via Vittorio Veneto, offers a journey through the projects of four authors who use the photographic medium to offer a unusual point of view on reality. The exhibition was curated by one of the most authoritative exponents of contemporary photography, the Italian-American Frank Dituri, who accepted the invitation of the Imago association of Arezzo to choose works capable of leading the visitor into a “non-visible” dimension ”, thus giving life to a one-of-a-kind event with national relevance.

The American Michael Morris, the Florentine Luca Cini and the Arezzo artists Rosaria Chimenti and Laura Lusini are the four photographers who have been selected for “Beyond the Visible” and who, in the final weekend, will be available to visitors to explain the technique, the meanings and contents of their shots. The exhibition in fact offers the opportunity for a varied journey through works created by internationally renowned professionals who have exhibited in galleries in Europe, America and Asia, but also in experimental projects signed by the same members of the Imago photographic association where photography is the vehicle of exploration, artistic expression, interpretation of everyday life and self-story.

The underlying theme of the exhibition, which can be visited free of charge from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00, remains the desire to deepen the charm and suggestions of mystery through ethereal, dreamlike or abstract images, capable of evoking the ambiguity of life and of everyday reality.
