Uisp Toscana mourns the passing of Marco Nesti: he was an auditor
Uisp Toscana also shares the pain of Uisp Grosseto for the loss of Marco Nesti, who had also been a precious collaborator of the regional committee, in which he held the position of auditor. Below we report the press release of the Grosseto committee, in which Nesti was currently general secretary.
A serious loss has shocked the Uisp family of Grosseto. The general secretary Marco Nesti passed away suddenly: he was 67 years old. Nesti, an expert and highly regarded tax expert, has worked alongside President Sergio Perugini since 2021; previously he had also held the role of auditor for the Uisp Tuscany committee. “He was our guide from an administrative point of view – states a heartbroken Perugini – the most capable and expert person in complex and fundamental matters such as legislation. We lose a very precious resource, a pillar for the committee, but above all a dear friend, a respectable man, always ready to help.” The entire Uisp committee rallies around the family for this very serious loss. Nesti’s funeral will be celebrated on Saturday 8 June at Cottolengo.
