Busto Arsizio, Reguzzoni fills Piazza Santa Maria

BUSTO ARSIZIO – In the last act of the electoral campaign in his Busto Arsizio, Marco Reguzzoni fills the central Piazza Santa Maria. Many people arrive to accompany Forza Italia’s candidate to the European Championships in the last mile who, as president of the “I Repubblicani” Association, has chosen to return to the field after twelve years of absence from active politics.

“I came back because I want to do something concrete to give our children a better future than the one they seem destined for by an inconclusive policy,” explains Reguzzoni, accompanied by the party’s general staff in the Varese area. “Forza Italia has decided to bet on a challenge in which I strongly believe, which starts from the vision of a Europe in which businesses, workers and our purchasing power are defended from unfair competition that gives no respite”.

The Bustocco entrepreneur retraces the themes that are dear to him: the protection of Made in Italy, support for the infrastructural needs of the North, but also the relaunch of the airport network in the North West and a series of health interventions. He also talks about immigration and repeats: “These are all games that must be played in Brussels.”

Reguzzoni talks about his contract with the voters, that is, twelve precise commitments undertaken to make future work in the European Parliament measurable. “I do it in front of this beautiful sanctuary of Santa Maria, emblem of the beauty of a territory that we must protect and enhance, also collaborating with our Municipalities, which according to my federalist vision are the reference body for citizens. I won’t do like the League which remained in opposition and shouted, I will go to Europe to be on the decision-making tables in the EPP, because my desire is to change things”.

It was the Forzi leaders who launched Reguzzoni’s race in Busto Arsizio. The regional deputy secretary Giuseppe Taldone speaks of “A candidate who carries forward with competence and tenacity the requests that belong to all of us”.

Simone Longhini, head of the provincial secretariat, expects “A sensational result, even more so in this province which immediately rallied around Marco. Every day we do nothing but collect positive opinions and great acclaim.”

For Laura Rogora, Bustocca coordinator of Forza Italia, “In recent weeks we have worked hard and well to achieve the desired result. Now the feeling is that Reguzzoni will really be able to go to the European Parliament to bring the voice of the territory”.
