There are many virtuous examples of young male and female students who carry out sporting challenges without detracting from their scholastic goals. One we want to remember for everyone, these days. An evocative name, a harbinger of considerable feats: Ivan Ilgrande, 5th year student at the IISS “Léontine e Giuseppe De Nittis” in Barletta, who won first place in the “Forms” specialty at the Taekwon-do Grand Prix which was held at the end of May in Zvornik, Bosnia and where several other boys from the Bat, sponsored by Fitsport Italia – Italian Taekwon-do Federation ITF, distinguished themselves with gold, silver and bronze. The school that supports, takes care of and personalizes the educational objectives based on the needs and aptitudes of each individual is the one that allows for these results. Since the first year, Ivan has been able to fuel, not without effort and sacrifice, his great passion, which honors Sport as one of the highest values of the human consortium, and this also thanks to the support and enthusiasm of the teachers who have taught him accompanied with a view to constant attention to inclusive strategies and the facilitation of everyone’s educational success.

The manager Antonio Francesco Diviccaro expressed great pride for this gold medal. It can be said that, thanks to his champion student, he has seen the daily efforts of the entire De Nittis school community rewarded to implement and demonstrate a constant orientation towards the promotion of positive values among the young people of Barletta.
