They concluded Italian Savate and Kickboxing Federkombat Championships in Jesolo, staged on 18, 19, 23, 24 and 25 May.

Three athletes from Indomita Sanremo were present at the event to win the coveted Italian title. After winning the various stages that qualify for access to the Italian Championships, Federico D’Ambrosio, Kevin Boni And Riadh Feki they achieved the podium in both specialties.

On May 19th and 19th, Federico D’Ambrosio and Kevin Boni respectively won the various pool stages in the Savate Pro Assalto and then found themselves in the final against each other. At the end of the match Federico D’Ambrosio won and thus graduated as Italian Champion.

On the same day, Riadh Feki took second place in the category – 70 kg (Savate Assault), fighting against very high level opponents and losing in the final due to a non-unanimous verdict.

The athletes therefore returned to Jesolo on 23, 24 and 25 May for the Tatami Absolute Championships and the Italian Trophy. Kevin and Riadh competed for the Italian Kick Light and Light Contact championship and, despite the obvious and justified tiredness, they still managed to prevail against opponents from all over Italy, also in this case conquering the podium which sees Kevin as Italian Champion (Italy trophy) in the Kick Light discipline in the senior category – 63 kg (black belts) and third in the Kick Light discipline in the -69 kg category, Riadh placed third in the Light Contact discipline in the Junior category – 65 kg.

«This has been an incredibly productive and satisfying competitive year which has seen us involved in 18 institutional and non-institutional competitions. The commitment, perseverance and determination were rewarded by the more than satisfactory results both for the Junior and Senior categories, and for the younger ones who also brought home, in the Italian championship held in Lignano Sabbiadoro on the 12th, 13 and 14 April, one gold and two silver medals», say the leaders of Indomita Sanremo.

«Our competitive commitments are not over yet because we will soon be involved in a competition aimed exclusively at children and on June 15th our Athlete Zidar will fight in Genoa in the K1 style in the Wako Pro and Fight Clubbing circuit. On the same day, in the afternoon, the Light athletes will also be involved, including some debutants who will compete in their first match. A special thank you to all those who, with their donations, help us financially to cover the costs of these long trips», they conclude.
