Poletti: “All neighborhoods of the city will receive the same attention”

“For us, suburbia is a topographical concept. All the neighborhoods of this city have the same dignity and all will receive the same attention, both in terms of interventions and funding”. Thus the mayoral candidate Paolo Poletti on the sidelines of a journey that saw him visit the areas of San Gordiano, Campo dell’Oro, San Liborio and today Borgata Aurelia in this last part of the electoral campaign.

“Each area has its distinctive characteristics – continues Poletti – each area has its advantages, unfortunately many city areas present important and in some cases serious critical issues. I don’t mean to highlight issues of neglect but in the Civitavecchia we are designing we will no longer have a good living room and many dormitory areas. Redeveloping all the neighborhoods also through the enhancement of local transport will be one of our most important priorities. An intense dialogue with citizens, also through forms of decentralization and bottom-up participation, will be essential to immediately understand where it is most urgent to intervene and record the quality and perception of the interventions. We rely a lot on third sector associations because they are widespread throughout the municipal territory and operate daily in contact with citizens. The municipal administration led by me wants to be an engine of development. This development will also pass through the improvement of liveability, the raising of the quality of services and the achievement of a high safety coefficient in the places and structures frequented by citizens of all ages”
