While there is talk of Annalisa’s possible co-hosting of Sanremo 2025, further details emerge on the format plans to adopt new artistic director Carlo Conti, which according to rumors is already working on the regulation. Although there are still eight months left until the start of Sanremo 2025, in fact, Carlo Conti is already thinking about how to set up his Festival. Compared to the direction of Amadeus, in fact, Conti would like to end the Festival at more “humane” times. Despite its success, in fact, Amadeus was often criticized for the excessive length of the episodes which ended late at night, which was extremely annoying especially for fans who had to go to work or school the next day.
Carlo Conti, in this case, would like to ensure that the episodes end between midnight and half past midnight. It is not clear whether this will coincide with a reduced cast (last year there were more than 20 champions) or with fewer interludes, but we will also have to see what the network thinks given that longer episodes coincided with more advertising space to sell and therefore greater revenue.
