UNSTABLE IN THE NORTH AND PART OF THE CENTRE, SUN AND HEAT IN THE SOUTH. The storm passage that will close the week A new unstable phase will begin in the northern regions which will return to visit some of our regions, in particular the northern ones, from Monday. The phase of good weather and summer climate that characterizes these hours will in fact only be a short-lived interlude, at least for Northern Italy, while in the South the dangers should be limited by the permanence of the Afro-Mediterranean anticyclone. The subsidence of the anticyclone at the height of our northern regions will be caused by a depression area over central-northern Europe which will repeatedly send unstable impulses towards the central Mediterranean, consequently also transiting part of our country. But let’s see in more detail how next week should go:
WEATHER MONDAY. The front that arrived in the North on Sunday will move towards the Balkans, but following it will remain active a flow of southwestern currents at altitude responsible for new episodes of instability during the day, with thunderstorms that from the Alpine circle and the Apennine mountains will tend to spill over to the lowland areas between the afternoon and evening, central-eastern species. During the day, some instability should also irregularly affect part of Central Italy, especially Tuscany, while in the South the stable and mostly sunny phase will continue. Temperatures will drop in the Centre-North, to a lesser extent in the South where rather intense heat conditions will remain.
TRENDING TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. Still unstable weather at times should affect the northern regions, with cooler climate and scattered thunderstorms, sometimes strong, albeit alternating with sunnier moments. Some phenomena from time to time would not be excluded even in parts of Central Italy. Greater stability instead in the South with summer climate.
NEXT TREND. A new increase in instability could already be of interest by Thursday Northern Italy with more organized thunderstorms and decreasing temperaturessome phenomenon could reach the central regions, albeit more isolated, while Southern Italy would have a greater chance of stable weather, with even intense heat.
