PERUGIA – They armed themselves with paper, pen and stamps and wrote dozens of letters to all the football clubs affiliated with Perugia to address «an invitation to rethink their collaboration with Massimiliano Santopadre’s Ac Perugia Calcio, as long as this continues to be a hostage of this property.”
This is the initiative undertaken by Ingrifati, the Red Army and the Nucleo XX Giugno, as yet another protest against the red and white society, after the chants outside Santopadre’s house and the banner of the Brigade.
In the long letter, the Ultras speak of wanting to «tell you about our sadness and anger in describing the uncomfortable situation in which the Perugia fans find themselves». Until the last thrust:
«With this Perugia, the hopes of seeing your boys succeed in the world of football and achieve their dreams are practically impossible, given the lack of planning that is the basis of the affiliations. It should be added that the collaboration with Massimiliano Santopadre is in fact a slap that you give to the wounded city and its fans, humiliated and vilified by this adventurer whose only aim is his own personal gain and certainly not to help your boys grow and give opportunities ».
While it is not clear if and how and when Santopadre will sell the club, with rumors also speaking of transfer moves, the connection with the Curva Nord has definitively broken.
