From On Sunday 9 June the summer public transport timetable comes into force throughout the entire basin of the provinces of Como, Lecco and Varese.
The new timetable includes a series of innovations aimed at satisfying tourist users and demonstrates the growing attention and sensitivity of the Local Public Transport Agency of the Como, Lecco and Varese basin towards non-systematic mobility, i.e. that which does not consist of habitual commuters morning-evening and by students. In fact, for years our territory has recorded significant increases in the number of visitors and tourists, including foreign ones, intrigued by the splendid postcards that the lakes and pre-Alpine mountains can offer.
The new timetables were made possible thanks to the active collaboration with the transport companies of the entire basin.
Main time changes:
Varese area
N10 Varese – Luino
The bicycle transport service on buses is active along the entire route on public holidays only. Bike loading and unloading can only take place at specific stops.
Extra-urban bus lines in the northern province of Varese
The timetable of the last summer season has been confirmed with trips that circulate with regular and easy to remember timetables.
Timetables coordinated with the regional railway system in Laveno Lago, Cittiglio, Sesto Calende and Tradate to allow easy connections.
Extra-urban bus lines in the southern province of Varese
From 1 July the numbering of the bus lines will change (Gallarate area, Busto Arsizio, Tradate) to simplify the line codes with a view to unitary coordination of the service.
