An international concert pianist he has held recitals in Europe, the United States, South America and Asia. Born in Argentina, where he graduated from the Carlos López Buchardo National Conservatory of Music and then graduated from Ball State University, he is currently a testimonial and ambassador for Steinway, the world leader in the production of pianos. Guest of important institutions such as the Birmingham Conservatory, the Petruzzelli Theater, the National Cheng Kung University, the Grieg Academy of Bergen, the Academy of Music of Oslo, the Hangyang University of Seoul, the Piano Concert Series International of Louisiana, he frequently collaborates with several orchestras, from Dallas to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ball State Symphony Orchestra just to name a few. He alternates the role of teacher with concerts. He is currently Professor of Piano and director of the Keyboard Department at Texas A & M University – Commerce, and is director of international projects of the Frances-Clark-Center for Piano Pedagogy. His students come not only from the USA, but also from Venezuela, Colombia, China, Bulgaria, Russia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Colombia and South Korea. In Aversa, the Argentine pianist will propose a very varied programme, from Johann Cristian Bach to Mozart. And again Alberto Ginastera, his fellow composer, to Franz Schubert to close with Franz Liszt with his ‘St. Francis of Paola walking on the waves’”. The appointment returns to the usual time of 8pm.

“At the moment – Giuseppe Lettieri, promoter of the initiative, tells us – the Festival dedicated to the main instrument of music, the piano, is truly registering a success beyond all expectations. Last Sunday with Alessandro Marano, who as a good Calabrian proposed a very spicy program, with a Liszt and his most virtuous pages, we started at 9.30 pm, and despite this the church was packed with the public from the first to the last note and the numerous encores required. The arrival of Sanchez, an Argentinian-trained pianist who has lived in the United States for years, is one of the most important moments of the event. The Maestro is also appreciated worldwide as a teacher, and many young pianists go to Texas for training. The program he will propose includes pieces by classical authors from different periods, but also a tribute to his native land, the land of tango, with some compositions by the composer Alberto Ginastera. In the short European tour that Sanchez will hold in the next two weeks, the Italian stops will be Rome and Aversa. I’m waiting for you, all with free entry, the important thing is to silence your cell phones and dedicate yourself to listening to great music for an hour!”.
