PERUGIA The Archival and Bibliographic Superintendence of Umbria also takes part in “The night of the archives”, a national initiative on 7 June aimed at enhancing the archival heritage.

The live event entitled: “That time I met an archive: and it was true passion! – Tell us about your spark” will be held in Perugia at the historical exhibition of the Superintendence, in Corso Garibaldi at 6.30 pm. The theme of this year’s festival is “passions” and for this reason the Superintendence has thought of a somewhat “special” format during which 26 archivists, users and fans of the archives will take turns, microphone in hand, to tell stories in a few minutes the moment in which the passion for archives was born. Doing the honors will be the Archival and Bibliographic Superintendent of Umbria, Francesca Valentini.
The seventh edition of Archivissima, the first festival dedicated to the promotion and valorisation of archival heritage, will take place in Turin from 6 to 9 June 2024. The Festival will host, within it, The Night of the Archives and will end on Sunday 9th with the Day international archives. The Archives Night confirms itself as the highlight of the Festival for sector bodies and in this edition it will involve over 450 entities, which will participate individually or organized in 22 territorial or thematic networks. This year’s theme will be explored through the most varied points of view, to satisfy every type of curiosity.
