Another theft in Piazza della Vittoria in Spoleto. This is yet another raid in the very central area where, in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, thieves broke into the Di Cicco Pucci butcher’s shop, which is located a stone’s throw from the local police headquarters.

Another theft in Piazza Vittoria The incursion occurred by forcing the shutter, which was then raised a few tens of centimetres, just enough to crawl inside. Here they immediately reached the cash register, where a few hours earlier Di Cicco Pucci had placed between 250 and 300 euros in 1 and 2 euro coins. The thieves then disconnected the wires and removed the drawer, which was later found by the police on the bed of the Tessino river a few dozen meters away.

Nighttime raids The robbery against Di Cicco Pucci is the third theft in just over a month against traders in Piazza della Vittoria, in addition to the damage to the real estate agency. The first attack occurred at Conti, where 4-5 thousand euros were taken away between scratch cards and bus tickets. Then it was the turn of the Piccolo bar, from which around eighty euros of cash funds were stolen. And finally, it was Di Cicco Pucci’s turn.

So far two complaints for receiving stolen goods The area is always the same and even the dynamics of the shots continues to make everyone, including the authorities, hypothesize that the perpetrators are not professional thieves but rather thugs who orbit in the area. The checks following the second theft led the authorities to carry out a raid on a municipal construction site, where a couple of young people who had organized their bivouac here were found. The two were found in possession of several bus tickets whose origin they could not justify, but which according to the police were among those stolen from Conti’s newsstand. Hence the free complaint for receiving stolen goods.
