Florence, 5 June – Directly from Chile the street artist and mime Karcocha together with the tightrope walker and juggler Payaso Loco and the wheel acrobat Bandie: they will be, in a fun and colorful show, the protagonists of Horizon of Sahara – Camaleonte Circus, a charity show ofJune 8th at the Limonaia of Villa Strozzi. to bring smiles to adults and children. The event is organized by the Sahara 76 association, which will donate the proceeds to support the oncohematology department of Meyer Children’s Hospital of Florence: paid event, entrance from via Pisana, 77.

Among the performers, with two and a half million followers, Karcocha, defined as a “modern harlequin”, has performed over the years in dozens of countries, bringing his engaging, extravagant and eclectic art directly to people and giving new life to discipline of mimes and silent clowns, with a contemporary and compelling edge. A little grotesque but still nice, ironic, irreverent and interacting with the audience who in turn feel like protagonists is Payaso Loco, with its balancing acts, juggling and a lot of improvisation. While Bandi, Cyr Wheel expert, will delight the participants with his artistic performance.

The evening will continue from 11pm with Euphoria, which offers 90s/2000s and commercial music. The cultural proposals of the week begin as early as Thursday 6 June, within the Fiori Sonori music festival (the first event has been postponed to 27 June due to bad weather). On the stage of the stage theater there will be Eugenio Sournia, singer-songwriter from Livorno, born in 1991 and former singer of Siberia who debuts in his solo project, produced by Emma Nolde and published by Carosello Records. The songs are particularly influenced by the relationship with mental health problems and religious experience, but there is no shortage of excursions towards love themes or those more oriented towards social criticism. There will also be the band Tonno, composed of Alessio Orrico on vocals and bass, Federico Baldini on drums and Fabio Benincasa on guitar and backing vocals, with their genre which they provocatively define as “normal music” (in the garden stage).

In conjunction with the concert there will also be the vintage market of “Only used”. The new food & beverage area, open every day starting from 7pm, is curated by Sahara 76, an intercultural cuisine project, which will offer fusion cuisine between Middle Eastern and Mediterranean recipes.
